Ruth Ann "Sam" Warmbrodt nee Risenhoover of Cuba, MO was born on Thursday, October 31, 1946 in Montrose, CO to Fred L. Risenhoover and Mildred A. Simmons Risenhoover. She passed away on Sunday, April 29, 2012 at MO Baptist Hospital, Sullivan, MO at the age of 65 years, 5 months, and 29 days.
Sam married Norman Warmbrodt on January 6, 1995 in Webster Groves, MO. Sam was a former police officer for the City of Bridgeton, MO. She was also, previously employed at McDonnell Douglas, (Boeing) and Washington University as an Administrative Assistant. Before retirement, she worked several years as Supervisor of Voice Services at St. John's Hospital, St. Louis, MO. She was a member of Deer Creek Church, Cuba, MO. Her hobby was embroidering and she also was very generous in giving away her embroidered pieces. Sam's positive attitude and fun loving character will be truly missed by her family and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers Harold and Kenneth Risenhoover; and father-in-law Norman P. Warmbrodt.
She is survived by her husband Norm M. Warmbrodt of Cuba, MO; children Jodine (Chuck) Sachman of Rogers, AR, Christina (Dan) Bollinger of St. Louis, MO, Lisa (Nathan) Randl of South Haven, MS, Ty (Jenny) Warmbrodt of Marthasville, MO, and Dena (Jerry) DeWitt of Union, MO; brothers Donald (Jean) Risenhoover of Arizona and Jerry (Linda) Risenhoover of Versailles, MO; sister-in-law Donna Risenhoover of St. Louis, MO; mother-in-law Mary Virginia Jennings of Fenton, MO; stepmother-in-law Marilyn Warmbrodt of Alabama; grandchildren William Sachman, Bobbie White, Tonya Shockley, Alexander and Nicholas Bollinger, Hannah and Noah Randl, Kieren, Brennan, Evan, and Katherine Warmbrodt, Kieley, Hailey, Blake and Bryce DeWitt; great grandchildren Ellie and Jael Shockley, Annika and Kevin White and Cailen Sachman;other relatives and many friends.
Visitation was Saturday, May 5, 2012 from 2-3:00PM and Memorial Service at 3:00PM at Hutson Funeral Home, Cuba, MO with Bro Glen Hammond officiating. There was a reception from 4-6:00PM at Deer Creek Church, Ladybug RV Park, 355 Hwy F, Cuba, MO.
