Alfred R. Bonser

Alfred Robert Bonser of Cuba, MO was born on Tuesday, March 9, 1948 to Robert and Mary MacNamara Bonser in Nottingham, NH.  He passed away in his home on Monday, October 21, 2019 at the age of 71 years, 7 months and 12 days.

Alfred was employed as a machinist in Nottingham, NH for Gen Corp then transferred with the company to Cuba. He married Sue Baker on March 16, 1996 in Cuba, MO.  Alfred also owned and operated the R & R Canoe rental business in Cuba and Steelville, MO. He attended First Baptist Church in Steelville, MO.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and father-in-law Raymond Baker.

He is survived by his wife Sue Bonser of Cuba, MO; sons Justin (Tiphani) Isom of Owensville, MO, Matt Isom of Bourbon, MO, Robert Bonser of  Bourbon, MO, and Eddie (Patsy) Brooks of Cuba, MO; daughters  Christina (Shawn) Brooks of Cuba, MO, Rebecca Pagliccia of Sanford, ME, Mary (Mark) Young of Wakefield, MA and Julie Brooks of Cuba, MO; brother Terry (Mary) Bonser of Nottingham, NH; mother-in-law Ruth (Elgie) Hill of Cuba, MO; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law  Kathy (Darrell) Cunningham of Bourbon, MO, Joyce Baker of Cuba, MO, Carl (Debbie) Baker of St. James, MO, Elgeana (Dale) Golden of Cuba, MO, Laura (Ron) Carr of Bonne Terre, MO, Glendal Baker and Kim Polite all of Park Hills, MO; 18 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation was on Thursday, October 24, 2019 from 5-7:00PM at Hutson Funeral Home, Cuba, MO. Funeral Service on Friday, October 25, 2019 at 11:00AM at Hutson Funeral Home, Cuba, MO with Rev. Bob Coleman officiating.  Burial at Freeman Cemetery, Cherryville, MO with pallbearers Austin and Chase Burlage, Jake Collier, Thomas Willett, Cody, Jacob, Eddie and Shawn Brooks. Memorials were suggested to the family for funeral expense.
