Alicia Marie Hinson-Williams

Alicia Marie Hinson-Williams, of Cuba, MO was born on Saturday, August 20, 1983, in St. Louis City, MO to Robin Scott Hinson and Thresa Marie Hinson, nee Reiner.  She passed away on Wednesday, September 6, 2023 in Rolla, MO at the age of 40 years and 17 days.

Alicia attended Cuba and Bourbon schools.  She had accepted the Lord as her personal Savior and had attended Mt. Olive Baptist Church.  She married Zachary Gordon Lee Sterling on November 1, 2001 in Cuba, MO and to this union 7 children were born.  She had worked at Aerofil in Sullivan, MO.  Alicia loved the simple things in life.  She loved to be outdoors whether it was fishing, camping, hiking or spending time on the river.   She liked to build things and to do anything to keep her hands busy.  Most of all, Alicia loved her family.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents Jim (Helen) Reiner; grandmother Judy McKibbin; and sister Valerie Hinson.

She is survived by her father Robin Hinson of Moberly, MO; mother Thresa Reiner (companion Eddie Rutz) of Cuba, MO; children Kaitlynn Sterling (Travis Johnson) of Republic, MO, Zachary Sterling (fiancée Megan Wriley) of Cuba, MO, Austin Sterling of Steelville, MO, Kyle Sterling of Villa Ridge, MO, Ayden Sterling of Paris, MO, Thresa Cunningham of Bourbon, MO, Gage Baker of Cuba, MO, Ryker Miller, Rowan Miller and Cooper Miller all of Rolla, MO; siblings Christopher Barton (Hailee McClure) of Rolla, MO, Nichole (Joshua) Heppermann of Cuba, MO, and Rachel Barton (Austin Hickerson) of Rolla, MO; grandchildren Braxton Sterling and Reagan Caraway both of Cuba, MO; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation is Sunday, September 17, 2023, from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Hutson Funeral Home, Cuba, MO. Memorial Service will immediately follow at 4:00 PM.  The family chose cremation as her final disposition.
