Angel May Rawlings, of Bourbon, MO and formerly of Cuba, MO, was born on Sunday, November 9, 2003, in Jefferson City, MO, to Joseph Henry Rawlings and Veronica May Decker. She passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at the age of 22 years, 1 month and 18 days.
Angel was a beloved daughter and sister, special family member, and friend whose life was marked by creativity, compassion, and dedication to those she loved. She graduated from Cuba High School with the Class of 2022 and went on to work as Lead of Secondary for SDC of Indiana in Sullivan, MO, where she was involved in the production of zinc and aluminum parts.
Angel was a talented artist who especially enjoyed drawing, expressing herself through her creativity. She had a deep love for all animals and showed her caring heart in countless ways, including nursing an injured squirrel she found on the road back to health.
Above all else, Angel cherished her family. She deeply valued time spent with them, creating memories filled with love, laughter, and connection. She will be remembered for her kind spirit, artistic talent, and the love she shared so freely with those around her.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Patty Decker; paternal grandparents, Junior and Mary Rawlings; aunt, Connie Decker.
Angel is survived by her loving parents, Joseph Rawlings and Veronica Decker of Cuba, MO; brother, Dustin Rawlings of Cuba, MO; grandfather, Melvin Decker of Jefferson City, MO; companion, Dawson Copling of Bourbon, MO; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visitation was from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM on Monday, January 5, 2026, at Hutson Funeral Home in Cuba, MO. Funeral Service immediately followed at 1:00 PM with Rev. Jerry Beers officiating. Burial was at Dillard Cemetery, Dillard, MO. Memorials were suggested to the funeral home to help the family with final expenses.
