Angela Renee (Pinnell) Witt

Angela Renee Witt, nee Pinnell, was born on Wednesday, March 22, 1972, in Sullivan, MO to Kenneth Walter Pinnell and Barbara Ellen Hawkins Pinnell. She passed away on Sunday, January 9, 2022, at Missouri Baptist Hospital in Sullivan, MO at the age of 49 years, 9 months, and 18 days.

She grew up in the Leasburg, MO area and was a Bourbon High School graduate in 1990. She accepted the Lord as her personal Savior at an early age.  Angela married the love of her life, Eric R. Witt, on September 20, 1997 in Springfield, MO.  Together they adopted and raised three children and fostered several others. She worked as a paraprofessional teacher aide for fourteen years in the Crawford County R-2 School District.  She loved teaching and helping her students.  Her hobbies included reading, camping, going to the river, and planting flowers every spring.  She loved spending time with her family and especially enjoyed the fish fries and special occasion get-togethers with her siblings and other family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents Kenneth and Barbara Pinnell; sister-in-law Karen Witt; infant grandson Aiden; and infant niece Elizabeth Springer.

Angela is survived by her loving husband, Eric R. Witt, of Sullivan, MO; children Devon Witt of Radcliff, KY, Abbey Witt of Bourbon, MO and Kristina Witt of Chillicothe, MO; parents-in-law Otis (Darlene) Witt of Sullivan, MO; sisters Debbie (Paul) Ransom of Leasburg, MO, Deanna (J.C.) Springer of Springfield, MO, and Tammy (Jeff) Parmentier of Leasburg, MO; brothers Kenny Pinnell of Washington, MO and Mark Pinnell of Leasburg, MO; brothers-in-law Otis Witt of Jacksonville, FL, Jeff (Angie) Witt, and Kevin (Bandy) Witt both of Sullivan, MO; sister-in-law Amy (Travis) Witt of Moberly, MO; grandchildren Dominic, Raylynn, Dallas, and Draven; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation was from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at Hutson Funeral Home, Cuba, MO. Funeral Service was at 11:00 AM on Thursday, January 13, 2022, at First Baptist Church of Leasburg, Leasburg, MO with Pastor Keith Neece officiating. Burial was at Lea Cemetery, Leasburg, MO.

Memorials were suggested to the family to help with final expenses.
