Barry Rand Kennedy

Barry Rand Kennedy of Rolla, MO was born on Sunday, September 9, 1956 in St. Louis, MO to Boyd Odell Kennedy and Bonnie Lynn Kennedy (nee Rushing).  He passed away at his home on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at the age of 65 years, 9 months and 20 days.

Barry graduated from Webster High School in St. Louis, MO.  He worked as a pipefitter for many years in St. Louis, MO and Texas.  Barry was previously engaged to Crystal Rector Dalton to which one daughter, Rachel, was born.  He accepted the Lord as his personal Savior early in life.  He enjoyed collecting coins, books, knives, and comic books.  He liked playing video games.  He loved to fish, hunt, play chess, and watch movies.  Most of all he, loved spending time with his daughter and grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents Boyd and Bonnie Kennedy; sisters Sharon Hardin and Diane Hardin; and sister-in-law Pat Kennedy.

Barry is survived by his daughter Rachel (Lisa) Fenwick of Farmington, MO; step-daughters Tiffany (Jayson) Zwetow and Renee Ziegler both of Rolla, MO; grandchildren Rylan Crawford, Peyton Fenwick, and Emberlee Fenwick all of Farmington, MO; step-grandchildren Kaytee Rumpell of Bismark, MO, Kaydence Zwetow, Bexley Zwetow, Brantley Ziegler and Briar Ziegler all of Rolla, MO; step-great grandchild Sophia Reeves of Bismark, MO; brothers Dan Kennedy of Michigan, Thomas (Sandy) Kennedy of Irondale, MO, Tim Kennedy of Leslie, MO, and Ricky Kennedy of St. Louis, MO; sisters Kim (Randy) Wilson of Park Hills, MO and Lisa Kennedy of Leslie, MO; companion Crystal Chapman; nieces and nephews Frankie (Staci) Beard, Holly Beard, Braden Wilson, Garrett Kennedy, Gage Kennedy, Thomas Kennedy and Katelyn Reis; cousins and many friends.

Visitation was from 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at Hutson Funeral Home, Steelville, MO.  Funeral Service immediately followed at 6:00 PM at Hutson Funeral Home, Steelville, MO with full military honors.  The family chose cremation as his final disposition.
