Beverly Jean (Henry) Jones

Beverly Jean Jones, nee Henry, of St. Charles, MO was born on Wednesday, July 31, 1935 in Macon, MO to Joseph E. Henry and Marie Glass Henry.  She passed away on Monday, March 8, 2021 at Steelville Senior Living at the age of 85 years, 7 months and 7 days.

Beverly graduated from Clopton High School in Clarksville, MO in 1953.  Beverly was a natural caregiver and went to St. Mary’s School of Nursing in Quincy, IL where she obtained her degree to be a registered nurse.  She had worked as a Director of Nursing at Missouri Baptist Hospital and Bethesda Hospital in St. Louis, MO. Beverly also taught nursing classes at St. Charles Vocational Tech School, after retiring she then worked at a doctor’s office.  She married Victor T. Jones and to this union a son, Michael, was born.  Beverly was a loving wife, mother, sister and friend.

She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Marie Henry; husband Victor T. Jones; son Michael D. Jones and sister Shirley Anne Gipson.

Beverly is survived by her brother Daniel (Sharlene) Henry of Steelville, MO and granddaughter Devin Jones of Waterloo, IL; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Her family chose cremation as her final disposition and will later be buried at Oak Grove Cemetery in St. Charles, MO.  There will not be any services held.
