Charles R. Price

Charles R. Price of Steelville, MO was born on Saturday, April 08, 1939 in St. Louis, MO to Clarence Orion Price Sr. and Theresa Gohler Price.  He passed away at his home on Monday, October 25, 2021 at the age of 82 years, 6 months, and 17 days.

He accepted the Lord as his personal savior early in life and attended Fairview Baptist Church located in Butts, MO.  He spent his early years in St. Louis, MO and then moved to Steelville, MO in 2005.  Charles graduated from Central High School in St. Louis, MO and then attended college at the Missouri School of Mines and Metallurgy in Rolla, MO.  He married the love of his life, Barbara Jane Cornelius Price in St. Louis, MO on March 18, 1960.  He worked for ITT Weaver in St. Louis, MO in shipping and receiving.  Charles was a proud member of the NRA and Lodge 1345 International Association of Machinist and Aerospace Workers.  He enjoyed collecting and shooting guns, hunting, and fishing.  He was an avid reader and especially enjoyed science fiction books.  Most of all, Charles loved his family and friends

He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Price; parents Clarence and Theresa Price; parents-in-law James and Ethel Cornelius; son Gregory Price; brothers James Price and Clarence Orion Price, Jr. 

Charles is survived by his children, Robert Price, Richard Price both of Steelville, MO and James (Carla) Price of Sullivan, MO; 9 grandchildren;  12 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The family chose cremation as his final disposition.  There will be no services held at this time.
