Dan G. Kreamalmyer

Daniel Glenn Kreamalmyer, of Steelville, MO, was born on Friday, June 20, 1958, in Rolla, MO, to Kenneth Leroy Kreamalmyer and Audrey June Kreamalmyer, nee Reeves.  He passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 in Rolla, MO, at the age of 66 years, 7 months and 8 days.

Dan graduated from Steelville High School in the Class of 1976.  He worked as an apprentice in Texas to become an electrician and returned to Steelville in 1985.  He had worked for many years in St. Louis, and later retired from LSC Communications in Owensville, MO.  As a young boy, he had attended Cherryville Baptist Church and accepted the Lord as his Savior.  Dan married the love of his life, Lisa Anne Richter, nee Smith, on June 28, 1997, in Cherryville, MO.  He was a member of the Upper Meramec Bass Club and Captain of the Route 66 Pool League.  Dan was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed time spent fishing, hunting, camping and horseback riding.  Dan was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Audrey (husband Bill) Abney; father, Kenneth Kreamalmyer; parents-in-law, Bob and Fran Smith; sister, Kary Kreamalmyer.

Dan is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Lisa Kreamalmyer of Steelville, MO; sons, Shane Kreamalmyer of Steelville, MO, Matt (wife Jessica) Kreamalmyer of Camarillo, CA and Lance (wife Danielle) Kreamalmyer of Crossett, AR; sister, Judy (husband Robert) Plank of Cherryville, MO; brothers-in-law, Thayer (wife Martina) Smith of Austin, TX and Justin (wife Sarah) Smith of Steelville, MO; sister-in-law Stephanie (husband Anthony) Billingsley of Steelville, MO; special nieces and nephews: Logan, Lauren, Cody, Jace, Laura Beth and Matt; 12 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation was from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM on Sunday, February 2, 2025, at Hutson Funeral Home in Steelville, MO.  Funeral Service was at 10:00 AM on Monday, February 3, 2025, at Hutson Funeral Home in Steelville, MO, with Rev. Jerry Beers officiating.  Burial was at Freeman Cemetery in Cherryville, MO.  Memorials were suggested to Freeman Cemetery (17372 Hwy 19  Steelville, MO 65565).

Casket Bearers are:  Logan Billingsley, Tyler Pilkington, Gerald Earhart, Clayton Earhart, Roger Honeycutt and Justin Smith
Honorary Casket Bearers are: Draton Halbert, Terry Moutray, Jim West and Anthony Billingsley
