Debby Yvonne (Warnhoff) Brown

Debra “Debby” Yvonne Brown, of Cuba, MO was born on Monday, December 12, 1955, in Phelps County, MO to Earl Wayne Warnhoff, Jr. and Betty Louise Warnhoff, nee Forester.  She passed away at her home in Cuba, MO on Sunday May 18, 2025, at the age of 69 years, 5 months and 6 days.

Debby attended and graduated from Cuba High School in Cuba, MO.  She was a house cleaner for many years.  She married the love of her life, John Lee Brown on October 30, 1994, in Fanning, MO.  Debby attended the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Cuba, MO and when younger, she enjoyed singing at church.   She loved dancing, cooking, taking long drives, canoeing, being outdoors, and singing karaoke.  Debby especially loved spending time with John and her family. 

Debby is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, John Brown of Cuba, MO; step-sons Joseph “Joe” Brown and Justin Ray both of Cuba, MO; brother Mike Warnhoff of Cuba, MO; brothers-in-law Stan (wife Pat) Brown of Kemmerer, WY and Tom (wife Charlene) Brown of Steelville, MO; sisters-in-law Ruth Finney of Troy, MO, Betty (husband Roger) Brown of Sullivan, MO, Mary (husband CR) Reeves of Cuba, MO; Barb (husband Rich) Pitts of Steelville, MO and Cay Brown of Washington, MO; 6 grandchildren;  other relatives and many special friends.

Debby was preceded in death by her parents Earl and Betty Warnhoff; parents-in-law Clifford and Anna Brown; brother Earl Warnhoff, Jr.; sister Linda Shore; brothers-in-law William “David” Cornick, Jerry Brown, and James Brown.

The family chose cremation as Debby’ disposition.  The family will hold a Celebration of Life at a later date.
