Doyle Wayne Elfrank of St. Clair, MO, was born on Wednesday, December 4, 1968, to Larry Gene Elfrank and Connie Marie Elfrank, nee Lamb. He passed away at Mercy Hospital in Washington, MO on Sunday, February 25, 2024, at the age of 55 years, 2 months, and 21 days.
Doyle graduated from St. Clair High School and was a lifelong resident of Franklin County. After high school, he received his CDL license and worked as a truck driver for thirty-eight years. In 1995, Doyle married Cheryl Gillam in Bourbon, MO and to this union a son, Devin, was born. Doyle was very mechanically inclined and could fix and repair the unfixable. He loved playing bass guitar, BBQing for family, float trips on the weekends and listening to rock and roll when it was good. In his spare time, when he was not changing a spare tire, he enjoyed watching old westerns and NASCAR.
He was preceded in death by his mother Connie Elfrank.
Doyle was survived by his son Devin Elfrank (fiancé Jennifer Pilkenton) of Sullivan, MO; step-daughter Nicole Hawkins of Sullivan, MO; father Larry (Charlene) Elfrank of St. Clair, MO; brother Loren Elfrank of St. Clair, MO; sister Darlinda Elfrank of New Florence, MO; sister-in-law Ann Missey of St. Clair, MO; nieces Katrina Elfrank and Jenny Elfrank both of St. Clair, MO; nephew Daniel Elfrank of New Florence, MO; grandson Liam Elfrank of Sullivan, MO; other relatives and many friends.
The family has chosen cremation as his final disposition. There will not be any services held at this time.
