Kevin Fuwell of Davisville, MO was born on Friday, December 13, 1963 in St. Louis City, MO to Oscar "Doyle" Fuwell and Jewel Marie Patterson Fuwell. He passed away at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO on Friday, August 6, 2021 at the age of 57 years, 7 months and 24 days.
Kevin attended Viburnum Schools. He married Cathy Pogue on February 13, 1986 and to this union three children were born. He later began a life with his soul mate Leann Brown who had two children, and together they raised their 5 children. Kevin worked at Paramount Apparel in Bourbon, MO where he was a Shipping and Receiving Supervisor. He loved music, especially classic rock, fishing and hunting, cold beer and floating. Most of all, he loved getting his family together and spending time with them, especially his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Thomas and Jewel Patterson and Oscar and Ruby Fuwell; special friend Mike Retkowski.
He is survived by his parents Oscar "Doyle" and Jewel Fuwell; loving companion of 24 years, Leann Brown of Davisville, MO; children Kevin (Dana) Fuwell of Maryland Heights, MO, Josh (companion Amy McCollum) of St. Ann, MO, Amanda Fuwell (companion Mark Tobiasz) of Overland, MO, Samantha Ransom and Jordan Ransom both of Davisville, MO; sister Cindy (Terry) Martin of Davisville, MO; sisters-in-law Lisa (Glendel "Tiny") Turnbough and Paula O'Neail both of Davisville, MO; 9 grandchildren, Raegan, Landon, Parker, Leah, Colton, Skye, Gunner, Tanner and TJ; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family chose cremation as his final disposition. There will be a private memorial service at a later date.
