Gary Steven Ramori

Gary Steven Ramori, of Cuba, MO, was born on August 20, 1953, in St. Louis, MO to Hector Peter Ramori and Lillian Belle Ramori, nee Kingston.  He was baptized into the hope of Christ Resurrection on Saturday, July 20, 2024 at the age of 70 years and 11 months.

Gary was a loving son, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, great uncle, cousin, godfather, friend and most importantly a caregiver to his parents.  He was a parishioner of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Cuba, MO.  He enjoyed going to mass every Saturday evening, especially with his family.  He enjoyed gardening, farming and the simple things in life.  The most important thing to him was being with his family, which was his greatest joy.  He was full of life and sharp; he could remember dates like no one else.  He was an avid walker, as many as 7 miles a day and as he walked through Cuba, you could be assured that you would get a wave from him as he kept on walking.  He will be missed dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents Hector and Lillian Ramori.

Gary is survived by his siblings Beverly (Joe) Russek of St. Louis, MO, Karen (Mark) Havard of Cuba, MO and Damon (Teresa) Ramori of St. James, MO; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews; cousins and friends.

Visitation was from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Cuba, MO.  Funeral Mass immediately followed at 11:00 AM with Father Tony Onyeihe officiating.  Burial was at Holy Cross Cemetery, Cuba, MO.

Those honored to be pallbearers were:  Joe Russek, Michael Russek, Aaron Rutz, Adam Rutz, Andy Rutz and Tony Flaim.
