Idea Marie (Mullinex) Vaughan

Idea Marie Vaughan, nee Mullinex, of Cuba, MO, was born on Tuesday, April 15, 1975 in Hobbs, NM to Jimmy Jackson Mullinex and JoAnne Flora Mullinex, nee Mallet.  She passed away at her home in Cuba, MO, on Saturday, April 19, 2025 at the age of 50 years and 4 days.

Idea worked as a cook in several restaurants and was previously a truck driver that traveled 48 states.  She enjoyed the simple things in life; cooking, playing video games and watching tv.  Most of all, Idea loved her family, especially her grandchildren, and spending time with them. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jimmy and JoAnne Mullinex.

Idea is survived by her son, Dustin Mullinex (fiancee Adrianna Bennett) of Cuba, MO; 3 grandchildren, Skarlette Mullinex, Grey Mullinex and Gabrielle Mullinex; other relatives and friends.

The family chose cremation as Idea's final disposition. No services to be held.
