James "Patrick" Collins

James “Patrick” Collins of Leasburg, MO was born on Tuesday, December 13, 1966, in St. Louis, MO to James Wilford Collins and Karen Louise Collins, nee Smith.  He passed away at his home in Leasburg, MO on Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at the age of 56 years and 8 days.

James attended and graduated from Fox High School in Arnold, MO.  He worked in the food service industry where he had been a manager of Subway in Fenton, MO and worked for Hardee’s and KFC.  Upon moving to Leasburg, MO, James worked for McGinnis Wood Products and PJ Meyers.  James was a homebody but in younger years enjoyed playing baseball, building model cars, and scrapping metal. 

He was preceded in death by his father James Wilford Collins and grandparents Mary Lou (McRowan) Whitney.

James is survived by his mother, Karen Collins of Leasburg, MO; children Patrick “PJ” James Collins of Carbondale, IL and Madelyn Collins of Ireland; and cousins and many friends.

The family chose cremation as his final disposition.  There will not be any services held at this time.
