Jeffrey A. Crippen

Jeffrey A. Crippen, 64, died at his home in Cuba, MO on March 17, 2025. He was born September 26, 1960, in Battle Creek, MI. The eldest of four siblings, Jeff grew up with a deep love of football, fishing and animals, particularly his dogs.

He was a 1978 graduate of Battle Creek Central High School, where he was a kicker on the football team. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps, worked as a service manager at a Ford dealership, and spent much of his life working in maintenance and as a groundskeeper for Battle Creek Public Schools, primarily at the former W. K. Kellogg Middle School and Battle Creek Central.

He is survived by his daughter; Natalie (Joshua) Servis of Marshall, MI; grandchildren Lawton, Sloane, and Beckham Servis; sister Debra Crippen of Louisville, KY, and nephews Dillon (Jennifer) Davis of Chula Vista, CA, and Kyle Davis of Lansing, MI.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Crippen and Marlene (Sanford) Crippen, and sisters Kerry Crippen and Teresa (Crippen) Davis.

Rest easy, Jeff. May the waters be calm, the game always in your favor, and the love you showed live on.

The family chose cremation as Jeffrey's disposition.  No services to be held.
