Judith Diane Arkulari, of Steelville, MO, was born on Tuesday, January 26, 1960 in St. Charles, MO to George Leon Arkulari, Jr. and Wilma Jean Arkulari, nee Miner. She passed away at Stonecrest Health Center in Viburnum, MO on Friday, December 30, 2022 at the age of 62 years, 11 months and 4 days.
Judy accepted Christ as her personal Lord and Savior at the Church of the Master Baptist Church in Denver, CO and later changed her membership to Denver Temple Baptist Church. She later joined in fellowship at the Cherry Hills Community Church. She worked long hours in several marketing positions, real estate and mortgage firms and was always ready to help someone in need. She spent more than 40 years in Colorado before coming to live with her mother after her disability retirement in 2011. She loved to run and did miscellaneous charity benefits, i.e., “The Colorado Susan G. Komen Race For Cure” cancer event. She also loved to ski. She loved flowers and the work it took to keep them blooming throughout the season. Judy loved and cared for Bella Jean and Boomer Francis, her two special friends (a King Charles Cavalier Spaniel and a Zu-chon) as long as she was able to do so. Judy was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
She was preceded in death by her father, George Arkulari, Jr.; sister Jeannie Kay Arkulari; nephew Benjamin Lee Arkulari; 3 uncles and 3 aunts.
Judy is survived by her mother Wilma Arkulari of Steelville, MO; children Jeffrey (wife Erin) Sutton of Aurora, CO and Christina (husband Sean) Lucas of Parker, CO; stepchildren Kyle Sutton and Llana Kang; grandchildren Kaleb Sutton, Kyleigh Lucas, Kody Sutton, Kai Sutton and Kenzie Lucas; 2 other important grandchildren Kaylee Sellers and Liam Humphrey; sister Penny Arkulari of Longmont, CO; brothers James (wife Cathie) Arkulari of Littleton, CO, Gary (wife Sally) Arkulari of Conestoga, PA, Jonathan (wife Lisa L.) Arkulari of Steelville, MO and Eric (wife Lisa M.) Arkulari of Wray, CO; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Visitation was from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at Hutson Funeral Home, Steelville, MO. Funeral Service immediately followed at 12:00 PM with Pastor Matt Cook officiating. Burial was at Fairmount Cemetery, Denver, CO. Memorials were suggested to the Susan G. Komen Cancer Foundation.
