Judith K. (Crump) Jones

Judith Kathleen Jones nee Crump of Edgar Springs, MO was born on Thursday, June 27, 1940 in St. Louis, MO to Vernon L. Crump and Ruth Ruby (Jennings) Crump. She passed away in Rolla, MO on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at the age of 81 years and 23 days.

Judith married Gary Wayne Jones, Sr. on March 7, 1961 in St. Louis, MO and to this union 3 sons were born. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter #236, Gardner, Kansas. She loved studying genealogy. She was an excellent seamstress. She worked in her flower gardens with a passion, and usually had an ice-cold Mountain Dew nearby. She enjoyed traveling and camping. Most of all, she enjoyed her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Vernon and Ruth Crump; husband Gary Wayne Jones Sr.; and sister Ruth Ann (Jack) Sarris.

She is survived by her sons Gary (Jill) Jones Jr. of Washington, DC, Kevin (Charlene) Jones of Edgar Springs, MO, and Brian (Molly) Jones of St. Charles, MO; grandchildren Emily Jones of St. Louis, MO and Drew (Taylor) Jones of Troy, MO; great grandchild Carter Daniel Jones of Troy, MO; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A Graveside Service was held at 11:00AM on Friday, July 23, 2021 at Ft. Leonard Wood, MO with Rev. Spencer Hutson officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials were suggested to the Salvation Army.   Donations@salvationarmyusa.org
