Ka'ran "Kory" David Edgar

Ka'ran "Kory" David Edgar, of Cuba, MO, was born on Wednesday, October 19, 1994 in Springfield, MO to Timothy Dave Edgar and Mary Elizabeth Hoke.  He passed away on Friday, July 19, 2024 in Bourbon, MO at the age of 29 years and 9 months.

Ka'ran graduated from Cuba High School in the Class of 2013.  He worked as the Assistant Manager at Dollar General and previously worked at Casey's in Cuba, MO.  He was an avid gamer, playing PlayStation and Dungeons and Dragons.  Ka'ran was his father's right hand.  They spent a lot of time having game nights and he was also a caregiver to his dad.  Ka'ran was the quiet type but he enjoyed time spent with his family.

He was preceded in death by his father, Timothy Edgar; grandfather David Edgar; nephew Chandler Werley.

Ka'ran is survived by his mother Mary Heisman of Cuba, MO; grandmother Anita Edgar of Cuba, MO; aunt Kimberly Hill-Auxier (husband Tom) of Cuba, MO; siblings Steffan Edgar of Cuba, MO, Abigail (TJ) Richardson, Story Edgar and Mira Edgar all of Cuba, MO; step-mother Liza Edgar of Cuba, MO; step-grandmother Norma Weber of Cuba, MO; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family chose cremation as his final disposition.  They will have a private inurnment at Meramec Hills Cemetery in Cuba, MO at a later date.
