Kenneth "Butch" Michael Bell

Kenneth "Butch" Michael Bell of Salem, MO was born on Thursday, August 9, 1951 in Salem, MO to Virgil Bell and Helen June Bell, nee Walker.  He passed away at his home on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at the age of 71 years, 6 months and 23 days.

Butch attended school in Sligo and Salem, MO.  He had accepted the Lord early in life and worked in the trucking industry on and off for 40 years.  He was a hard worker and enjoyed to buy and sell scrap.  Most of all, he loved his family and spending time with them.

He was preceded in death by his parents Virgil and Helen Bell; grandparents William and Bertha Bell, William and Catherine Walker; sisters Shirley (Joe) Goldner and Barbara (Marvin) Jenkins.

Butch is survived by his son Norman (Christin) Bell of Licking, MO; siblings Virgil "Richard" Bell of Hermitage, MO, Helen Arlene (Jack) Stanfast of Salem, MO, Judith "Kay" (Greg) Enke of Lacoma, MO and Tim Bell of Boss, MO; grandchildren Daustin Nelson, David Wogoman, Daylee Wallace and December Birchfield; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation was from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at Hutson Funeral Home, Steelville, MO.  Funeral Service immediately followed at 12:00 PM with Rev. Spencer Hutson officiating.  Burial was at Eaton Cemetery, Cherryville, MO. Memorials were suggested to Eaton Cemetery.
