Kimberly Hendrix nee Fuller of Steelville, MO was born on Saturday, September 26, 1964 in Poplar Bluff, MO to Delbert Lloyd Fuller and Glenda Jewell (Dildine) Fuller Elkins. She passed away on Thursday, August 20, 2020 in Steelville, MO at the age of 55 years, 10 months, and 25 days.

Kimberly was raised in Granite City, IL. She moved with her family to House Springs, MO when she was a freshman. She graduated from Northwest High School in House Springs in 1982. She married and raised 3 children. She was an excellent mother and loved to cook. She moved to Cuba, MO in 2004 and later met Mark Anthony Hendrix, whom she married on July 30, 2014 in Steelville, MO. They moved to High Ridge, MO where she initially worked in the bakery at Food For Less where she took pride in making the perfect donut. She later put her talent to work at the Blue Owl Sweet Shoppe (Home of the Sky High Pie) in House Springs, MO. She loved to cook to perfection. They later relocated to Steelville, MO and enjoyed living near the river. She often used her culinary gift in cooking outdoors over the open fire. She also worked at Cuba Manor as a Certified Med Tech (CMT) and cared for the residents deeply for 8 years. She had a green thumb and could grow a large variety of vegetables and flowers.  She loved her cats and dogs, and especially her pot belly pig, "Bacon". She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her mother Glenda Jewell Fuller Elkins; step-father Harry Elkins; and parents-in-law Kenny and Vera Hendrix.

She is survived by her husband Mark Hendrix of Steelville, MO; father Delbert Fuller of St. Peters, MO; children Christopher Dale "Fur" Skinner Hendrix of Mountain View, MO, Jennifer Nycole Skinner of Leslie, MO and Cody Joseph Skinner of Union, MO; grandchildren Dakoda Lindsey, Alexus Lindsey and Jaxson Gerstner all of Leslie, MO; sister Kelly "Po" (Sean) Cochran of High Ridge, MO; brother Kenny Elkins of Ballwin, MO; brothers-in-law Paul (Tammy) Hendrix of Steelville, MO and John (Brenda) Hendrix of Cuba, MO; sister-in-law Debbie (David) Holmes of Berryman, MO; special aunt Bonnie (Boyd) McGathey of Granite City, IL; special niece NaTasha Haney of St. Charles, MO; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation was from 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at Hutson Funeral Home, Steelville, MO. Funeral Service immediately followed at 7:00 PM at Hutson Funeral Home, Steelville, MO with Bro. Len Young officiating. The family chose cremation as the final disposition.
