Larry Mansker Obituary

Larry E. Mansker, of Steelville, MO was born on Friday, September 24, 1954, in Corning, AR to Paul Eugene Mansker and Glenda Mansker, nee Cravens.  He passed away at his home on Sunday, September 18, 2022, at the age of 67 years, 11 months and 25 days.

Larry moved to and attended school in St. Louis, MO as a child. After school, he went to work at Paulo Products in St. Louis as a heat treater and retired from there after many years. He coached baseball and was involved in his son’s sporting activities during his early years.  He moved to St. James, MO and lived there for approximately 15 years before moving to Steelville. On the weekends he loved camping with his family. Other favorite pastimes included watching movies and cooking.  He was also a car enthusiast and enjoyed tinkering with his TransAm. He will be missed by his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Paul and Glenda Mansker; son “Little” Larry Eugene Mansker; and sister Sonja “Cookie” Pauletta Mansker.

Larry is survived by his children Cassandra Taylor Frazier of St. Clair, MO, Heather Renee Mansker (fiancé Timothy Bice) of Arnold, MO, Tanya Lora (Richard) Stortzum of Troy, MO; sisters Thelma “Susie” (Delmer) Smith and Sandra (Allen) Bodenschatz both of St. Louis, MO, and Carolyn (Kenny) Smith of Blytheville, AR; special friend Benny Frazier of Steelville, MO; grandchildren Taylor, Kayla, Peyton, Cameron, Skyler, Paris, Carter, Triston, Ellie, Landon, Hailey, and Christine; great grandchildren Oliver and Elaina; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family chose cremation as his final disposition. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. Memorials are suggested to the funeral home to help with final expenses.
