Lebogang "Brenda" (Pharithi) Asher

Lebogang "Brenda" Asher, nee Pharithi, of Jefferson City, MO was born on Saturday, May 11, 1985 in Bobonong, Botswana to Selekane Dorothy Pharithi.  She passed away at her home on Monday, March 6, 2023 at the age of 37 years, 9 months and 23 days.

Brenda grew up in Bobonong, Botswana, Africa.  She came to the United States in the fall of 2010 when she attended Missouri S&T College in Rolla, MO and it was there that she met the love of her life, Taylor Delcour Asher.  They were married on May 21, 2015 at the Rolla First Assembly of God and to this union a daughter, Avery, was born.  Brenda and Taylor were members of Solid Rock Family Church in Jefferson City, MO where she served on the Praise & Worship Team.  Brenda loved worshiping the Lord and singing, and was often asked to sing at the Cowboy Church in St. James, MO when visiting.  Most of all, she loved spending time with friends and family, especially.  Brenda was a good wife, mother, daughter, sister, cousin and friend.

She was preceded in death by her father Gabriel Mabelgano; father-in-law Robert Wade Asher; grandmother-in-law Janet Delcour.

She is survived by her loving husband, Taylor Asher of Jefferson City, MO; daughter Avery Asher (3) of Jefferson City, MO; mother Selekane Pharithi of Botswana; mother-in-law Marsha Delcour (Kyle Jeffers) of St. Louis, MO; grandparents-in-law Chester (Fay) Delcour of Steelville, MO; siblings Morgan Pharithi, Florah Pharithi, Patricia "Pattie" (Aaron) Matinkeja, Ernest Pharithi, Onneile "O" Pharithi and Hannah "Obi" Pharithi all of Botswana; brother-in-law Justin (Barb) Wright of Steelville, MO; sister-in-law Gabrielle (Anthony) Rogers of St. Louis, MO; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Visitation was from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM on Friday, March 10, 2023 at Hutson Funeral Home, Steelville, MO.  Funeral Service was at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at Hutson Funeral Home, Steelville, MO with Pastor Joe Skiles officiating.  Burial was at Steelville Cemetery.
