Linda E. (Moran) Fox

Linda E. Fox, of Bourbon, MO, was born on Thursday, February 23, 1956, in St. Louis, MO to Arthur C. Moran, Sr. and Estelle F. Moran, nee Burke.  She passed away at Missouri Baptist Hospital in Sullivan, MO, on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at the age of 69 years and 5 months.

Linda attended school in St. Louis, MO and moved to Illinois in the 70’s.  She later met her husband, Troy Daniel Fox, a truck driver, while dispatching for a trucking company in Rockford, IL.  Linda and Troy married in 2001 in Rockford, IL.  They divorced; however, they remarried in 2009 in Union, MO.  Linda also worked as a CNA and a hairdresser.  She enjoyed and loved being at home with her dogs, Stewart, Tilly, and Hulk.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur Sr. and Estelle Moran; father-in-law, Bill Fox; brothers, Edward Moran and Thomas Moran; brother-in-law, Billy Fox.

Linda is survived by her husband Troy Fox of Bourbon, MO; children; step-daughter, Amanda (husband Gary) Higgins of Rockford, IL; mother-in-law, Virginia Fox of Rockford, IL; brothers, Arthur (wife Colleen) Moran of Cleveland, OH and Timothy Moran of IA; sister Deborah Moran (Joseph Ball) of Des Moines, IA; brothers-in-law, Kevin (wife Georgia) Fox of GA, and Daniel (wife Susan) Fox of Winnebago, IL; sisters-in-law, Mary Moran of Highland, IL, Jackie Fox of Loves Park, IL, and Melissa (husband Bobby) Lee of Rockford, IL; grandchildren; 4 step-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family chose cremation as Linda’s final disposition.  No services to be held.
