Linda Hollandsworth Obituary

Linda Hollandsworth, of Cuba, MO, was born on Saturday, May 1, 1954, in Niskayuna, NY to Sike David Johnson, Jr. and Mary Lillian Johnson, nee Hasty.  She passed away at her relative's home in Steelville, MO on Thursday, May 22, 2025, at the age of 71 years and 21 days.

Linda graduated high school and then attended Lindenwood University in St. Charles, MO.  She was managing various apartment complexes in the St. Charles, O’Fallon, and St. Peters area when she met the love of her life, Roger R. Hollandsworth.  They were married on December 3, 1993 and recently celebrated their 31 year anniversary. 

Linda was a Housing Program Manager in St. James, MO before her retirement. She enjoyed Fantasy Football, flowers and gardening, traveling with her work friends, and had a very distinctive laugh that her friends and family loved. She named her car Margaret and was very fond of animals, especially her blue healer named “Blue.”  Linda adored her family and loved caring for and spending time with them.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents Sike and Mary Johnson; and brother-in-law Charles Hollandsworth.
 

Linda is survived by her husband Roger Hollandsworth of Cuba, MO; stepsons Brian (wife Glenda) Hollandsworth of Goldsboro, NC and Jeff (wife Sara) Hollandsworth of O’Fallon, MO; sister-in-law Judy Hollandsworth O’Fallon, MO; brother-in-law Wayne Tafoya of TX; grandchildren Scott (wife Charlotte) Hollandsworth of Ft. Walton Beach, FL, Morgan (husband Nick) Musser of Plano, TX, Ian Hollandsworth and Ava Hollandsworth of O’Fallon, MO; great grandchildren Ashton Hollandsworth of Ft. Walton Beach, FL, Luca Musser and Keeley Musser both of Plano, TX; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family chose cremation as her final disposition. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Memorials are suggested to the Cuba Animal Shelter, 224 Enterprise Drive, Cuba, MO, 65453.
