Lynn Allen Hendrix of Salem, MO, previously of Steelville, MO, was born on Tuesday, February 7, 1967 in Rolla, MO to William “Bill” Joseph Hendrix and Sally Ann (Walls) Hendrix. He passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2020 at Missouri Baptist Hospital in St. Louis, MO at the age of 53 years, 6 months and 16 days.
Lynn attended Steelville Schools and had previously worked at Merritt Saw Mill and Chaumiere Farms. Lynn attended Salem Pentecostal Church of God. He was engaged to Doris King and they were to be married next year. Lynn was a jokester, he loved to cut-up and laugh. He enjoyed woodworking and making model cars. He liked to go to Shawnee Mac Lake to sit and just watch the water. Most of all, Lynn loved his family; especially his kids.
He was preceded in death by his parents Bill and Sally Hendrix; grandparents Charles Jake and Laverna Walls and brother Terry Hendrix.
He is survived by his children Aimee Hendrix of St. Louis, MO, Matthew Brooks of Sullivan, MO, Alicia (Ericia) Hendrix of Washington, MO and Kelsey Hendrix of KS; fiancée Doris King of Salem, MO; brothers Tony Hendrix of Bourbon, MO and Alex (Carolyn) Hendrix of Leasburg, MO; granddaughter Emily Wildhaber; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family chose cremation as his final disposition. There will not be any services held.
