Lynnette "Lynn" May Stansbury, nee Champagne, of Cuba, MO and formerly of Livingston, LA, was born on Sunday, December 1, 1968, in Port Barrie, LA to Frank Champagne and Mergie May Miller. She passed away at her home in Cuba, MO, on Friday, April 25, 2025, at the age of 56 years, 4 months and 24 days.
Lynn grew up in Louisiana and attended Port Barrie High School. She had worked at a sewing factory, as a cook at a boudin factory and last as a lead grill cook at Waffle House. Lynn enjoyed cooking and crocheting. She loved going on float trips, spending time at the ocean and taking her family camping there each summer. Most of all, Lynn loved her family and especially loved her titles of being "mom, grandma and daughter."
She was preceded in death by her father, Frank Champagne; parents, Mergie and Charles Trahan; son, Brandon Paul Champagne and brother Andrew Shane Trahan.
Lynn is survived by her loving children, Christina Marie Chautin (wife Dannielle) of Cuba, MO and John Champagne of LA; grandchildren, Jace, Adalina and Izabella; grandmother, Mamom Miller of Breauxbridge, LA; siblings, Nannette Marks and Jeanette Chautin both of Morgan City, LA, Chuck Trahan of Houma, LA and Dale Champagne of Arnaudville, LA; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family chose cremation as her final disposition. No services to be held.
