Michael "Mike" John Trowbridge

Michael John Trowbridge of Rolla, MO was born on Sunday, July 24, 1966 in Sullivan, MO to John T. Trowbridge and Geraldine Watson.  He passed away in Columbia, MO on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at the age of 54 years, 8 months, and 10 days.

He grew up in the Steelville area and attended Steelville Schools.  He went to Center Point Baptist Church and had accepted the Lord at an early age.  He rededicated his life just before his death.

Michael was an over-the-road truck driver for many years and most recently worked at Donut King in Rolla, MO.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working on vehicles.  He was exceptionally good mechanically and especially loved to solve problems when fixing vehicles.

He was preceded in death by his father John Trowbridge, mother Geraldine Watkins, grandparents Wade (Molly) Watson and Mabel (Carl) Ray, sister Karen Cook, brother James Daniel Trowbridge, and best friend Tracy Bartle.

He is survived by his stepmother Norma Trowbridge of Steelville, MO, five children Michael Bowman (significant other Jessica Purdy) of Wichita, KS, Jessica Naugle (significant other Billy Scearce) of Attica, KS, Scheron Wolfe (significant other James Martin) of Cherryville, MO, James Trowbridge (significant other Megan WIllard) of McKenzie, TN, and Hope Trowbridge of St. Robert, MO; seven grandchildren Jon, MaKenzie, Brendon, Katie, Kylee, Brantley, and Legacy; stepsisters Christina Murphy of Leesburg, GA and Elizabeth Miles of Steelville, MO; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family chose cremation as his final disposition and will be having a private graveside service for family and friends at Asher Cemetery in St. James, MO.
