Mildred "Micky" Irene (Parker) Cooper

Mildred “Micky” Irene Cooper nee Parker of Steelville, MO was born on Saturday, May 11, 1940 in Dillard, MO to Landis K. Parker and Eva Irene Brand Parker.  She passed away at Cuba Manor on Sunday, January 12, 2020 at the age of 79 years, 8 months and 1 day.

Micky graduated from Steelville High School.  She married Donald Franklin Cooper and to this union a son, Jimmy, was born.  Micky attended Missionary Baptist Church when she was younger and accepted the Lord early in life.  She spent most of her life as a factory worker.  She enjoyed to sew, play cards and scrabble and to watch tv.  Most of all, she loved her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Landis K. Parker, Sr and Eva Irene Parker; brothers Irvin Parker, Bob Parker, Eddie Parker and infant stillborn brother Landis; Sister Dixie (Phillip) Farrar and nephew Bo Farrar.

She is survived by her son Jimmy Cooper of Steelville, MO; grandchildren Colette Cooper and JD Cooper both of Steelville, MO; great grandchildren Zachariah, Lilian and Keaton Woodfin; brother Landis "Jr" (Barb) Parker of Steelville, MO; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

Micky donated her body to science.  The family will have a private memorial service at a later date. 

Memorials may be given to the family to help with final expenses.
