Robert Eugene Gooden

Robert Eugene Gooden of Ironton, MO was born on Saturday, May 8, 1954 in Belle, MO to Robert Gooden and Marcelene Bertha Gooden (Nee Thompson).  He passed away at Mercy South Hospital in St. Louis, MO on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at the age of 68 years, 1 month and 6 days.

Robert grew up in Belle, MO and graduated high school in Jefferson City, MO.  He then joined the US Air Force where he served our country honorably.  After Robert was discharged, he went into the reserves where he became a military policeman and then began his law enforcement career in Alexandria, LA where he later retired from. Robert was a member of the VFW and American Legion.  He loved riding his motorcycles, was a jack of all trades and a master of none but his most loved passion was rebuilding cars. He was a loving son, father, brother, uncle and friend.

He was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Marcelene Gooden. 

The family chose cremation as his final disposition and will hold services in Alexandria, LA.
