Robert "Bob" Henry Kreamalmyer

Robert “Bob” Henry Kreamalmyer of St. James, MO was born on Sunday, May 8, 1949 in Cherryville, MO to Albert “Junior” Edward Kreamalmyer, Jr. and Betty Jo Bobbitt Kreamalmyer.  He went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 5, 2021 at his home, at the age of 72 years, 2 months and 28 days.

Bob attended Cherryville High School.  After high school, he went on to become an exceptional carpenter in all areas of carpentry.  Bob owned and operated Better Built Construction for many years, building homes in Crawford and Franklin counties and St. Louis, MO.  He was a perfectionist in his work and hard to please at times, but if his name was on it, it had to be perfect. The rule was "no call backs!!!"

Bob married Wanda Lee Adams on March 21, 1993 in Cuba, MO and they built their home on an acreage near St. James, MO.  Bob's favorite thing to do was hunting, hunting and more hunting with his brother Bill in Colorado, Kansas, New Mexico, and Alaska. When he wasn't hunting, he was fishing and camping with his brother Jim, who he lost last year.  When he wasn't working hard hunting and fishing, he loved to garden and grow all of their vegetables for the year.  In these last years, he grew closer to the Lord and spent hours reading the bible and praying.

He was preceded in death by his parents Albert "Junior" Kreamalmyer, Jr and Betty Jo Perrigue; brother Jim Gillam; sister Elizabeth "Sue" Starks.

He is survived by his wife Wanda Adams of St. James, MO; sons Richard Kreamalmyer of Springfield, MO, Kevin Kreamalmyer of Kenosha, WI, Nathan Kreamalmyer of Sullivan, MO and Troy Adams of Bourbon, MO; brother Bill (Sylvia) Kreamalmyer of West Burlington, IA; sister Joan (Wilford) Hadley of St. James, MO; six grandchildren, Tyler, Hunter, Ashley, Mitchell, Nathaniel and Jeremy; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Graveside Service was at 11:00 AM on Monday, August 9, 2021 at Steelville Cemetery with Bro. Bill Kreamalmyer officiating.
