May 20, 1958-June 15, 2025
Elizabeth, Arkansas – Rodney Joseph Adams, aged 67, was taken from us unexpectedly along with his loving wife Sally Marie Adams and puppy Ralphie, on June 15, 2025. Born to Robert and Constance (Clinch) Adams on May 20, 1958, in Lancaster, Wisconsin, he was known for his radiant spirit that illuminated the lives of those around him. Rodney exemplified generosity; he had a remarkable ability to share whatever he had, often putting the needs of others before his own, even if it meant sacrificing his own comforts.
A devout follower of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Rodney’s faith guided his actions and interactions within the community. He was a dedicated member of the Handcove Fire Department, where he forged enduring friendships and contributed tirelessly to the safety and well-being of his neighbors. Passionate about flying, Rodney often spoke of the freedom he felt in the sky, a hobby that brought him immense joy and fulfillment. He had a genuine passion for cooking for others, and while he tended to be a bit messy in the process, it was clear that his heart was always in it. Rodney was a remarkable father and dear friend, whose boundless love deeply touched everyone around him.
Professionally, Rodney worked diligently as a mechanic at B&G Foods in Stoughton, Wisconsin, for an impressive 47 years, earning the respect and admiration of his colleagues for his hard work and expertise. His legacy of kindness, service, and dedication will be cherished and remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Although Rodney's time on earth was brief, he truly embraced a life filled with rich experiences and meaningful connections. His infectious laughter, kind spirit, and unwavering support touched the hearts of everyone who knew him. We can take solace in the knowledge that our Heavenly Father has lovingly embraced him now, surrounding him with warmth and peace for eternity. In the embrace of divine love, Rodney will find comfort, free from pain and sorrow, forever in a place of joy. You will be loved and missed, Rodney, until we meet again.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Andrew Adams; his father, Robert F. Adams; his sister, Diane Adams; his brother, David Adams; his sister, Lynette U’ren; his brother, Robert Adams; his brother, Allen Adams; his mother, Contance (Clinch) Adams; grandson Evan Knight and his wife, Sally (Sproul) Adams.
