Shane Edward Conaway-Trimble, of Springfield, MO and formerly of Linn, MO, was born on Tuesday, February 19, 1991, in Columbia, MO, to Lester Eugene Trimble and Sharon Kay Conaway. He passed away at his home on Thursday, July 2, 2026, at the age of 35 years, 4 months and 13 days.
Shane moved with his family from Jefferson City to Linn, Missouri, when he was two years old, and Linn was where he grew up. As a child, he loved watching wrestling and playfully wrestling with his brother Bradley. In 2024, he moved to Springfield, Missouri.
As a teenager, Shane accepted the Lord into his life, and his faith remained important to him. He was known for his jolly personality, his love of history, and his passion for cooking, which led to a career in food service. He proudly served as the head cook at Missouri Baptist Nursing Home in Linn and was most recently employed by Kentucky Fried Chicken.
Shane enjoyed watching old westerns with his mom and dad, singing country songs, and spending time with his family. He had a special love for children and had a kind, caring heart. Above all, he cherished his family and the time they shared together.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lester Trimble; grandparents, Edward & Dovie Conaway and Dorothy Hicks.
Shane is survived by his mother, Sharon Conaway of Linn, MO; fiancé, Alisha Foster of Springfield, MO; two brothers, Bradley Conaway (Jessica) of Linn, MO and Greg (Angela) Trimble of Cole Camp, MO; two sisters, Angela Becker of Columbia, MO and Carla Trimble of Chamois, MO; three nieces and ten nephews, including Cody Kimbrough of Jefferson City, MO, who was not only his nephew but also one of his closest friends as they grew up together; aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visitation was from 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at Hutson Funeral Home in Steelville, MO. Celebration of Life immediately followed at 4:00 PM with Rev. Jerry Beers officiating. The family chose cremation as his final disposition and will have an inurnment at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family to help with final expenses.
