Shawna Jeneé Terry nee Klocke, of Sullivan, MO, was born on Thursday, January 1, 1976, in Fort Riley, KS to James Charles Klocke and Sheila Diane Sego, nee Littrell. She passed away at her residence in Sullivan, MO on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at the age of 49 years, 5 months and 20 days.
Shawna was raised by Sheila and Don Sego in Sullivan, MO. She was active in cheerleading from the 5th grade through 11th grade and graduated from Sullivan High School as Vice President of the Class of 1995. She married Robert Terry in September of 1998 and to this union 2 children, Cody and Cassidy, were born.
Shawna attended nursing school at East Central College in Union, MO earning an Associate's Degree in Nursing and graduated as Valedictorian of her class. She was a member of the Missouri Nurses Association. Shawna mainly worked for Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital but also did a couple assignments as a traveling nurse in both Texas and Florida.
She had accepted the Lord early in life and was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church in Bourbon, MO. She loved the outdoors, spending time hiking, camping, and fishing at Meramec State Park in Sullivan and at the beach while living in Florida. Other hobbies included flower gardening and rock collecting, especially hagstones. She adored her pit bull named Axl Rose, but most of all, Shawna loved her family and spending time with her children.
She was preceded in death by her father James Klocke; and brother Bradley Sego.
She is survived by her parents Sheila and Don Sego of Sullivan, MO; son Cody M. (Katharine) Terry of Warrensburg, MO; daughter Cassidy N. Terry (Keith Pennel) of Maryland Heights, MO; stepmother Julie Klocke of Columbia, MO; brothers John Klocke of Columbia, MO and Justin (Kelsey) Klocke of Manchester, MO; sister Kimberly Sego (Mike Peirick) of Cedar Hills, MO; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Visitation was Saturday, June 28, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Concordia Lutheran Church, Bourbon, MO. A Celebration of Life Service immediately followed at 12:00 PM with Rev. Dennis Roedemeier officiating. The family chose cremation as her final disposition.
