Sherry Lynne (Roberts) Edwards

Sherry Lynne Edwards, nee Roberts, of Steelville, MO, was born on Sunday, February 7, 1960, in New Mexico to Harold Edward Roberts and Mandy Berniece Roberts, nee Bryant.  She passed away on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, in Steelville, MO, at the age of 65 years, 7 months and 24 days.

Sherry graduated from Viburnum High School in the Class of 1979.  She enjoyed sewing, knitting and flowers of all kinds.  She adored animals, especially her cat, Stinky, and dog, Tinker.  Most of all, Sherry loved her family and time spent together.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Berniece Roberts; husband, Gene Edwards;  son, Ronald James Eugene “RJ” Godbey.

Sherry is survived by her loving son, Justin Godbey of Steelville, MO; brothers, Gene Roberts of Steelville, MO and Ron “Bink” (wife, Mary) Roberts of FL; many special aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family chose cremation as Sherry's final disposition and will have a private inurnment at Cherryville Baptist Cemetery at a later date.  Memorials may be given to the family to help with final expenses.
