Tamara “Tammy” Amelia Carl, nee Langford, of Cuba, MO and formerly of Steelville, MO, was born on Sunday, December 24, 1950 in Granite City, IL to Victor Eugene Langford and Antoinette Langford, nee Piazza. She passed away at her home in Cuba, MO on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at the age of 73 years, 3 months and 20 days.
Tammy graduated from Lindbergh High School in St. Louis, MO. She later graduated from Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, MO where she obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Education. She worked as an elementary school teacher in Ft. Leonard Wood and later went on to publish a children's book titled The True Father. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Victor and Antoinette Langford and son Justin Carl.
Tammy is survived by her children Alison Talley (husband Charles Turner) and Andrew Talley both of Colorado Springs, CO; grandchildren Amelia and Justin Talley; her sister Debra Langford; cousins and friends.
Visitation is from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at Hutson Funeral Home in Steelville, MO. Funeral Service will immediately follow at 7:00 PM with Dr. Rick Haggett officiating. Following Tammy’s wishes, the family chose cremation as her final disposition.
