Ted Alan Christie, Jr.

Ted Alan Christie, Jr. of Davisville, MO was born on Wednesday, January 7, 1976 in St. Louis, MO to Ted Alan Christie, Sr. and Ruth Ann Christie, nee McGruder.  He passed away at his home on Monday, October 9, 2023 at the age of 47 years, 9 months and 2 days.

Ted attended high school in St. Clair, MO.  He had accepted the Lord as his personal Savior and attended Boss Assembly.  He was a mechanic and enjoyed being outdoors.  He liked to horseback ride, ride Harleys, hunt, and fish.

He was preceded in death by his father Ted Christie, Sr.; stepfather Robert Myers; infant son Tyler Christie and sister Tina Christie.

Ted is survived by his mother, Ruth Myers of Steelville, MO; children Amber Christie, Ted Christie, III. and Katilynn Christie all of Joliet, IL, Dakota Brooks of Steelville, MO; siblings Crystal (Kenneth) Criger of Zephyrhills, FL, Veronica (David) Leefers of O'Fallon, MO and Monica Houlihan of St. Charles, MO; 10 grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation is from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM on Friday, October 13, 2023 at Hutson Funeral Home, Steelville, MO.  Memorial Service will immediately follow at 11:00 AM with Pastor Paul Davis officiating.  The family chose cremation as his final disposition.  Memorials may be given to the funeral home to help with final expenses.
