Thomas "Tommy" Dwayne Eaton of Steelville, MO was born on Thursday, May 22, 1969 in St. Louis City, MO to Carl John Thomas "JT" Eaton and Mary Katherine Blankenship Eaton. He passed away at his home on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at the age of 52 years and 11 days.
As a child, Tommy attended First Baptist Church in Steelville, MO. He grew up in Steelville, MO and graduated in the Class of 1988. He lived in Atlanta, GA over 20 years and worked setting up and delivering pool tables. After he returned to Steelville, he worked for Odd Jobber Construction in Cuba, MO and Halbert General Contracting in Steelville, MO. Tommy loved kids and was “Uncle Tommy” to most and loved dogs, especially Rowdy. He enjoyed fishing, having cookouts, going to the river and having bonfires with friends. He liked working on his truck and keeping it looking nice. Most of all, Tommy enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and was loved by all.
He was preceded in death by his parents JT and Mary Eaton; grandparents Thurman & Frances Eaton and Robert & Alice Blankenship.
Tommy is survived by his daughter Alyssa Eaton of Atlanta, GA; brothers Shannon Eaton (companion Tammy Vena) of Plato, MO and Johnny Eaton of Jonesboro, AR; nieces Alison Neal of Newburg, MO, Katherine Eaton of Waynesville, MO and Kaylee Eaton of Plato, MO; great nephew Gunner Neal; great niece Savannah Warren; step grandson Cason; special friends Gary (Misty) Halbert of Steelville, MO and Kenny Collins of Cuba, MO; aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visitation was from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at Hutson Funeral Home, Steelville, MO. Funeral Service immediately followed at 7:00 PM with Rev. Alan Miles officiating. Burial was at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at New Friendship Cemetery in Paragould, AR. Memorials were suggested to help with final expenses.
