Tricia Abigail Ealer, nee Brown, of Steelville, MO was born on Sunday, January 15, 1984, in Rolla, MO to Kenneth E. Brown and Pat Brown, nee Bilbrey. She passed away at her home on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at the age of 40 years and 30 days.
Tricia graduated from Steelville High School in the Class of 2002. After graduating, she went to Nashville to pursue a music career. She got a record label with KMA records and was a member of TCMA (Tennessee Country Music Association). She traveled for a year doing shows, including shows with Bill Anderson, Tommy Cash, and David Frizell. She then came home and sang for several years at the Meramec Country Music Show.
Tricia met and married Ashley Ives Ealer of St. Clair, MO on October 24, 2004 at First Baptist Church in Steelville. She gave up her music career to be a wife and mother. To this union, two children were born, Jackson Kenneth Clay Ealer and Lucillia Belle Ealer. Tricia’s hobbies were cooking, crocheting, sewing clothes for her son, and working on her car.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents Herman and Lueretta (nee Hutson) Bilbrey and Arthur and Gertrude (nee Hardin) Brown; uncle Tim Bilbrey; and cousins John Henry Bilbrey and Wally Pennock.
Tricia is survived by her husband Ashley Ealer of Steelville, MO; children Jackson Ealer and Lucillia Ealer both of Steelville, MO; parents Ken and Pat Brown of Steelville, MO; brother Kenny Brown (Vicky Clark) of Steelville, MO; nieces Maggie Brown and Katie Brown both of Steelville, MO; aunts and uncles Daisy Bilbrey, Bill (Nancy) Brown all of Steelville, MO, Ruby (Norman) Heironimus, Michelle Bilbrey all of Cuba, MO, Bob Brown of Sparta, IL and Kay Worley of Springfield, MO; parents-in-law Jim and Susie Ealer of Steelville, MO; grandparents-in-law Jim and Lois Ealer of St. Clair; sisters-in-law Lauren Ealer and Lena Jacobson both of Steelville, MO and Wendy Ealer of St. Clair, MO; cousins and a host of friends.
Visitation was from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, February 16, 2024, at Hutson Funeral Home in Steelville, MO. Funeral Service was 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at Hutson Funeral Home in Steelville, MO with Rev. Jerry Beers and Rev. Spencer Hutson officiating and was livestreamed on Hutson Funeral Home in Steelville, MO's Facebook Page. Burial was at Brown Cemetery, Steelville, MO.
