Wayne married Rosemary Margaret Jones Roberts on June 27, 1958.  They loved each other for over 54 years.  He served 2 years in the US Army, 1954 to 1956, 1 year in Korea.  He worked several jobs, he worked in a factory, part owner of a service station, restaurant and sporting goods store, drove a truck, owned an electronics supply business, was a real estate broker, manager of the pro shop at Cuba Lakes Golf Course, was a pest control tech before he retired in 1999.  Wayne was elected to the Crawford Electric Co-Op Board of Directors and served 28 years.  After giving up his seat on the board, he was recognized by the Missouri Association of Electric Co-Op, who presented him with the A.C. Burrows award for outstanding service.   He loved his Masonic Lodge work, serving as Worshipful Master twice and Secretary for many years.  He enjoyed traveling around the district giving lectures in the 3 degrees.
