William "Willie" A. Skiles, of Steelville, MO, was born on Saturday, May 15, 1954 in St. Louis, MO to Billy Edward Skiles and Louise Bell Parsons Skiles. He passed away at Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, MO on Monday, August 16, 2021 at the age of 67 years, 3 months and 1 day.
Willie grew up in Maplewood, MO where he graduated from high school and lived most of his adult life. He worked for CC Dillon Co in Arnold, MO as a truck driver for many years. Willie was a member of the Teamsters Local 618. He loved going to the casino, looking at coins and collecting guns. When he was younger, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a good provider and a very hard worker. Most of all, Willie loved spending time with his family. He was a great father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.
He was preceded in death by his father Billy Skiles; mother Louise (husband Darrel) Bilderback; children William Robert "Bobby" (wife Tammy) Skiles and Monica "Mickey" Summers; stepchildren Daniel Leonard and Rhonda Bridgett and sister Julie Rebstock.
Willie is survived by his stepchildren Christina Jones (companion Tony Marcrum) of Steelville, MO and Tim (Traci) Granger of Maplewood, MO; son-in-law Michael Summers of Arnold, MO; siblings Rick Skiles and Donnie Skiles both of Richmond Heights, MO, Steven (Mary) Skiles of Bland, MO, David Skiles of St. Louis, MO and Connie "Teeny" Skiles of WI; brother-in-law Michael Rebstock of AR; 13 grandchildren: Stephanie, Josh, Jamie, Michael, Ali, Liam, Rhonda, Kenadee, Tiffany, Ashley, Dylan, Landon and Maddie; 6 great grandchildren: Ella, Ivan, Ryker, Evander, Bentley, Hunter and 3 more on the way; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Visitation was from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Hutson Funeral Home, Steelville, MO. Funeral Service immediately followed at 11:00 AM with Bro. Len Young officiating. Burial was at Keysville Cemetery, Steelville, MO.
Pallbearers will be Tony Marcrum, Joshua Skiles, Tiffany Jones, Ricky Walker, Michael Summers, Liam Skiles and Dylan Jones.
