Chelsey Rachelle Harmon, of Steelville, MO, was born in Rolla, MO on Wednesday, April 7, 1993 to Jeffrey Lynn VanBibber and Sharon Ruby Harmon. She passed away on Friday, March 1, 2019 at the age of 25 years, 10 months and 22 days.
Chelsey was a lifelong resident of Crawford County. She attended Steelville Schools and accepted the Lord early in life. She worked several jobs after school such as DCAI, Casey’s in Cuba and lastly at Country Mart in Steelville. Chelsey had a contagious smile. She enjoyed camping, canoeing, kayaking and looking for arrowheads. She liked to hang out with her friends. She loved her dogs Doofy and Chaos, but most of all Chelsey loved her family who miss her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her two grandfathers Clifton Harmon and Eugene VanBibber and her cousin Shalanna “Sha” Harmon.
She is survived by her parents Jeffrey VanBibber and Sharon (Harmon) Dement of Oklahoma City, OK; brothers Tyler Harmon of Steelville, MO, Walker VanBibber of Oklahoma City, OK and Dakota VanBibber of Stover, MO; grandmothers Lucille Harmon of Steelville, MO and Cepha VanBibber of St. James, MO; special aunt Lorry Harmon of Steelville, MO; aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
Visitation was Wednesday, March 6, 2019 from 6PM—8PM at Hutson Funeral Home, Steelville, MO. Funeral was on Thursday, March 7, 2019 at 11AM at Hutson Funeral Home, Steelville, MO with Rev. Jerry Beers officiating. Burial at Cherryville Baptist Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations were suggested to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
