On your first meeting with us, we will discuss the arrangements for your loved one’s burial. You will be shown a list of our packages/services so you can decide what suits your family’s preferences and budget. You will be asked whether you’d prefer burial or cremation arrangements and optionally you would select a casket, schedule a time and date for the services, decide on the location of the burial, draft an obituary notice, arrange for vehicle services, and select pallbearers.
We would also use this opportunity to inquire about your loved one for us to have a better understanding of the person the services will honor. What we need for you to bring is:
-a picture for the obituary
-clothing if there will be a viewing (including under garments)
-jewelry (can be removed, just let the director know)
-info on date of birth, birth place, highest level of education, occupation and industry, social security number, parents full names (including mother's maiden name)
-relative information for mother, father, children, grandchildren, siblings, in-laws. Both living and deceased. Ex: Jane (husband John) Doe of Steelville, MO.
-songs you would want for the service (usually 2-3)
-pictures for a video tribute (up to 150) and up to 8-10 songs
**If military, we need a copy of their DD214 to use to get military honors and flag
